PlateHawk LPI (“PlateHawk,” “we,” “us”) is a parking-lot license-plate inventory service used by our business customers (“Customers”) and their staff. Customers use our web dashboard and mobile app to photograph and track vehicles parked on their own lots. This policy explains what data we collect through that service and how it’s handled.
We do not collect data about the individuals who own or drive the vehicles being photographed beyond what is visible on the plate itself, and we do not attempt to identify those individuals.
Inventory data is used exclusively to provide the service to the Customer it belongs to — tracking which vehicles are on their lot, for how long, and generating the informational reports our dashboard provides. Data for one Customer’s site is never visible to another Customer; access is enforced at the database level, not just in the app.
We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase, running on encrypted cloud storage) solely to operate the service. We may disclose data if legally required to do so.
Inventory and account data is retained for as long as a Customer’s site is active, so their historical reports remain available. A Customer’s administrator can remove a staff member’s access at any time. To request deletion of a Customer account and its data entirely, contact us at the email below.
PlateHawk LPI is a business tool intended for use by adult staff of our Customers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Questions about this policy, or a request to access or delete data, can be sent to support@platehawk.io.
